Social Skills Groups

Definition: Small-group instructional practice in which participants can learn, practice, and receive feedback that target social skills.  This practice includes:

  • Instruction on targeted social skills
  • Modeling
  • Role-playing
  • Coaching and feedback (Fettig, 2013)
