Early Childhood Tier 1 Numeracy Practices

Course description

The Kansas MTSS and Alignment early childhood team will be providing information and guidance on Tier 1 Numeracy Practices in the Early Childhood Classroom.  This meeting will take place via ZOOM and is appropriate for all preschool educators across the state of Kansas.

Learning Objectives

During this training, participants will be learning:

• the importance of early numeracy in early childhood classrooms.
• the recommended components of a tier 1 numeracy program.
• examples of strategic numeracy teaching practices.
• how to use the trajectories within the Kansas Early Learning Standards to guide instruction.
