Course description

What kind of playful learning opportunities do young children have in your setting?  What learning objectives do these playful experiences provide?  How playful is your instruction?  How are children learning and are they making developmental gains you are hoping for?  Join us to discuss everyday routines with playful instructional strategies to help young children develop important early literacy foundational skills integrating print knowledge and phonological awareness.  Take away playful activities with specific learning objectives that are planful and explicit, which can be embedded into daily routines that will make a difference for your children’s learning journey.
