To expand and support the implementation of the Head Start –public school collaboration work throughout the state by holding a Kindergarten Readiness Summit. The goal is to bring together teams of school districts and Head Start programs from at least 10 school districts in Kansas. This collaboration will help to sustain and improve gains children make during Head Start through building strong, effective relationships between Head Start and receiving schools.
Organizations partnering to provide this Summit are: Kansas Head Start Association, Kansas Head Start Collaboration Office, Kansas State Department of Education, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Kansas Department for Children and Families, Kansas Children's Cabinet and Trust Fund.
Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
