KSDE SETS Special Education Administrators' Quarterly #3

Course description

The KSDE Special Education and Title Services (SETS) Team is hosting meetings for new and experienced special education administrators. Team members will cover timely special education topics (see learning objectives). We encourage special education administrators and any support staff who perform special education administrative functions to attend. This meeting was scheduled to be in-person, but due to current recommendations, it will be held virtually via zoom.

The format for the KSDE SETS Special Education Administrators' Quarterlies is as follows:

9:00- 9:35 Welcome and Setting the stage, Director Updates, Vocational Rehabilitation, Pre-Employment Transition Services

9:35-10:25 "Just In Time"- Fiscal

10:30- 11:45 Focus Area: Horizon Lines- Craig Neuenswander & Dale Brungardt

12:00-1:00 Lunch with networking optional

1:00-2:00 Legal

2:00- 3:00 Focus Area: Building a Community (Q&A) Panel with KSDE SETS

Support opportunities to unpack recent legal decisions with support from TASN providers

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
