Course description

Learn how to empower students to manage conflict through the Kansans Can Competency of Conflict Management. Numerous strategies and tools support students in better understanding the five conflict management styles, how to handle anger, context within disagreements, negotiation and mediation.  When students learn how to better manage conflict, they use various methods to address conflict, compromise or collaborate more with peers, and establish healthier more meaningful relationships.

Learning Objectives

Participants will explore instructional activities, practice techniques, and learn about resources and tools to promote conflict management.

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
