Course description

Learn how to empower students to shift from a fixed to growth mindset, recognize when they lack confidence, and take steps to persevere through the Kansans Can Competency of Self-Efficacy. By teaching students how effort connects with progress and abilities, youth will be more motivated, persevere longer, and engage in learning. Students who have self-efficacy are more likely to take on challenging tasks, more open to feedback, and view mistakes as opportunities to learn.

Learning Objectives

Participants will explore instructional activities, practice techniques, and learn about resources and tools to promote self-efficacy.

Refund Policy

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
