Course description

This informational and demonstrative workshop will provide information for Classroom Teachers, Special Educators and Paraprofessionals and will focus on the unique aspects of educating students who have visual impairments and the role of the regular education teacher, vision teacher and paraprofessional. AUDIENCE: Any regular education classroom teacher and/or special education teacher who has or will have a student with a visual impairment in their classroom. In addition, paraprofessionals or other school staff working with a student who is blind or visually impaired.
