Course description
The Co-teaching Coaches Training is one component of the TASN Co-teaching Training and Coaching System. This event is open to individuals who are available to provide coaching and on-going support to co-teachers in their district.
At this professional learning event, co-teaching coaches will:
1. Demonstrate mastery of the 4 approaches to co-teaching (i.e., similarities, differences, advantages, and cautions);
2. Consider the roles and responsibilities of the coach;
3. Identify the research that provides the heart of the Co-teaching Instructional Observation Form;
4. Operationally define concepts and components involved in observation;
5. Practice using the Online Co-teaching Observation and Coaching Tool; and
6. Become part of a network of other Kansas Co-teaching Coaches.

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
