Course description
Frustrated with trying to make a story come alive in sign language? This workshop will offer tips on how to be an effective storyteller. Differences between ASL and English discourse strategies will be examined and differences between story reading and storytelling will be compared. Research-based techniques in making stories more visually appealing and accessible will be shared. This workshop will be presented in ASL.
