Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Virtual Schools: Part 1

Michigan Virtual presents this series in response to a common inquiry, "How can virtual schools structure a multi-tiered system of support?" 

The purpose of part 1 of the series is to build a mental picture of what is possible for virtual schools. It focuses on the story of Link Learning (part of Berrien Springs Public Schools in Michigan). Link Learning developed a virtual MTSS resulting in: 

• increased graduation rates
• improved outcomes for students receiving Special Education and English Language services
• Increased student retention and return rates
• and retention of current staff and leadership.
