Getting out of the door difficult? Struggling to manage mealtime? Come learn about evidence-based strategies to support these difficult times. Interventions presented will focus on how to facilitate a behavior change. The session will cover strategies to structure for success and how reinforcement can support a long-lasting change in behavior.

  • Be introduced to the ABC's of behavior.
  • Identify strategies to prevent problems during daily routines
  • Be provided with information on how to use reinforcement to improve desired behaviors

Presenter Information:

Torri Smith Tejral, MS, BCBA, LIMHP, is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner as well as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Torri has a passion for working with children on the Autism Spectrum and advocating for evidence-based practices. Over the course of her career, she has provided outpatient mental health services, intensive home-based therapy services, and center-based therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As part of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) grant at MMI, Torri focuses on training and supervision of professionals seeking their BCBA certification. Torri also provides home-based intensive therapy services at Childhood Autism Services in Papillion.
