This is Module 8 of 10 in the Engaging All Families Series.

The complete series can be found here

To the right is a heading 'Included Resources". Below that heading are handouts that are referenced and used throughout this webinar.

Overview

Families have questions that are asked regularly of districts/schools such as: How can I access my children’s grades? When are Parent/Teacher Conferences? When is the first day of school? What’s for lunch? How can I volunteer? Etc. When educators seek to answer these questions before school begins and throughout the school year, families can plan ahead to reduce anxiety and educators are saved time and stress. This module addresses some of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) of families and strategies to address those questions.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe how your school/district/classroom addresses the Frequently Asked Questions of families.
  2. Identify the most commonly asked questions of your families.
  3. Create a resource or website to address frequently asked questions of families.
