KIRC, in collaboration with Kansas State School for the Bliind, KSDE TASN, and Kansas DeafBlind Project sponsor trainings for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialists, paraprofessionals, and transcribers in the areas of Expanded Core Curriculum, Literacy and Numeracy, and Braille transcription and guidelines.


Every Move Counts beginning January 7,2022. This 4 part series will cover Theory and Practice, Every Move Counts Assessment, Every Move Counts - Goals and Implementation Strategies, and Evaluation of Effectiveness. This series is open to Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments and their IEP teams (OT, PT, SLP, Special Education, etc.)
