Teaching, practicing, modeling, and encouraging essential personal life habits that are universally understood as making people good human beings and citizens is a Kansans Can outcome. Learn to support social competencies for all students by using a process that includes assessment, planning, and implementing evidence-based strategies at school, at home, and in the community.
On day one participants will design a plan for one of their students, return to their classroom, and implement this plan.
On day two all participants will have an opportunity to share their implementation strategies, results, and outcomes using a powerpoint template that has been provided. Explore what other Kansas educators are doing to support social competencies from early childhood to adulthood on day two.
This is a two day training. If you register for day one you must also register for day two on April 17.
