How Individual Plans of Study Connect with IEPs
The Individual Plan of Study involves much more than a transition plan…the two strategies (IPS and IEP) are complementary; however, Individual Plans of Study are an “all means all” effort. Youth with disabilities are thinking and planning for their transition throughout the school year, this means that when the annual IEP meeting occurs, these students will have plenty of ideas and actions steps that can be incorporated into their transition plan document. This session will focus on the ways that Individual Plans of Study support youth with disabilities and other members of special populations. Resources supporting the IPS/IEP process will be shared
