This session is part of the Kansas Infinitec Virtual Practitioners' Technology Summit on February 25, 2022.

Assistive technology involves on-going collaborative work by teams which includes families, caregivers, school staff and students.  Join this interactive Round Table Discussion to learn how districts are building capacity within their districts to support students.  Be prepared to ask questions, share ideas from your own districts and interact with other teams from around the state.  This session will be interactive and an opportunity to gather ideas from around the state on how districts and cooperatives are supporting AT devices and services. 

Learning Objectives

Participants will: 

  • discuss delivery models of assistive technology services in districts and cooperatives referencing the Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology. 
  • problem solve barriers to assistive technology service delivery.
