This session is part of the Kansas Infinitec Virtual Practitioners' Technology Summit on February 25, 2022.
The MakerSpace at the Kansas State School for the Blind was developed to help students learn and apply skills that could become hobbies and/or jobs. A course was created last year that focused on Entrepreneurship to introduce the concepts and steps to build a job, and time was scheduled at the MakerSpace to develop their projects. This year, more time and opportunities were scheduled for students and staff at the MakerSpace. Join this session to learn more about how KSSB has inspired students to become entrepreneurs through this program and how it could apply to your students!
