KSDE SETS Special Education Administrators' Quarterly Meeting #1

Course description

The KSDE Special Education and Title Services (SETS) Team is hosting meetings for new and experienced special education administrators. Team members will cover timely special education topics (see learning objectives).   We encourage special education administrators and any support staff who perform special education administrative functions to attend. This meeting is scheduled to be in-person in the Redbud C room on July 26th the day before the KSDE Special Education and Title Services Summer Leadership conference on July 27th and 28th. 

Registering for this meeting does not register you for the conference if you would like to attend both the Quarterly meeting and the Leadership Conference you will need to register separately for each one.

• Build collaboration and coordination within special education leadership and with KSDE and TASN providers

Legal Topic Objectives

• Review and application of legal special education requirements
• Support opportunities to unpack recent legal decisions with support from TASN providers
• Build collaboration and coordination within special education leadership and with KSDE and TASN providers

Refund Policy

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
