What CTE pathways are available in your district? How many students are enrolled in local CTE courses? How many should be? Could student transition plans help?
CTE teachers in all Kansas districts have been required to analyze how many students of special populations are participating in CTE courses and what strategies might be needed to improve the partnership. Using students' IPS and Transition plans to help drive this collaboration, transition coordinators and special educators with CTE teachers to provide skills and courses to support students' transition plans and postsecondary goals. Join Lori Jensen Wilson as she outlines what is being asked of districts through new regional trainings. Participants are encouraged to share possible communication efforts that have been successful!
