Facilitator Training for LETRS Units 1-4

The event is limited to 25 and registration is full.  We anticipate spots may become available. Use the link below to be added to the wait list for this event. If a large enough number complete the requirements for training but are not able to be accommodated in this training they will be given priority at next scheduled LETRS Unit 1-4 Facilitator Training.

Become a LETRS Facilitator to support a sustainable model in the use of LETRS Units 1-4 professional development for years to come.

Each attendee must meet eligibility requirements:

  • Complete the online content for all Units. Purchase online course for Units 1-4 at the Voyager Sopris website HERE.
  • Pass the end-of-course exam following Unit 4 with a score of 90% or better by April 30, 2020.
  • Purchase a Facilitator’s Kit upon meeting #1 and 2 above - this is provided by TASN
  • Sign a Statement of Commitment with Voyager Sopris Learning.
  • Complete a minimum of eight sessions of ongoing professional development offered by Voyager Sopris in the year following Facilitator Training.
  • Remain employed or contracted by the sponsoring agency - this is TASN

This training has a 25 person capacity.  Progress checks will be emailed occassionally to help keep you on track and to open up slots in the event that someone is not making sufficient progress to complete by April 30th, 2020. 

LETRS Units 5-8 Faciltiator training is planned for the summer of 2021. After completing LETRS Units 1-4 course plan to complete your LETRS training over the 2020-2021 school year with Units 5-8.

Learning Objectives

  1. Use the Facilitator's Guide and other resources to facilitate face-to-face sessions, PLCs, and group meetings when supporting teachers as they progress through each of the four units
  2. Determine and communicate an implementation model and schedule for participants
  3. Monitor and report course progress at the individual, school, and district level
  4. Provide ongoing support to participants using suggested resources and tools
