Researchers from the Kansas University Center on Developmental Disabilities (KUCDD), including Sheida Raley, Jennifer Bumble, and Evan Dean, will share evidence-based practices and supports for teachers/transition coordinators supporting youth and young adults to build self-determination and engage in supported decision making as they approach the transition to adulthood. Practical strategies for IEP goal development, classroom activities, and transition planning will be discussed.
Join KSDE for Transition Tuesdays every second Tuesday of the month. In the one-hour webinar, practitioners will have the opportunity to learn about secondary transition topics and resources. Topics of interest will be shared for these scheduled webinars as we get closer to them. Registering for these events will allow you to receive reminders, get a certificate of attendance for attending, and access to materials.
These webinars will be held via zoom on the second Tuesday of the Month from 3:30 pm-4:30 pm.
