Course description

This event is provided at no cost to Kansas educators.

Shonda Anderson will present a 2-day professional learning event. This event is open to any educator interested in differentiated instruction and/or Universal Design for Learning. The first session will be on November 9th. The second session will be on November 30th. You will need to register separately for both days. Registration for Day 2  

Graduate credit is available through Baker University.  

Learning Objectives

  • Explore approaches to differentiating the content students learn, the process through which they learn it, and how they demonstrate what they have learned
  • Practice both a Retrofit and a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach to differentiation
  • Design unit/lesson plans that integrate whole class, group, and individualized instructional strategies designed to meet the needs of a diverse student body

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
