Course description

This in person session will focus on strategies for establishing and growing meaninful partnerships with students and families that benefit learning in the classroom and whole school culture.  Participants will be asked to consider what aspects of school are currently led by adults, where students could be invited to be co-leaders in an effort to build a greater sense of shared ownership for the school community. Various resources for sharing Student Voice and Aspirations work with parents and families will also be explored. An additional element of the final session in this professional learning series is to celebrate progress made in amplifying Student Voice and Aspirations. Implementation actions, successes, and challenges will be shared as we collectively reflect on the past year and plan for next steps moving forward.
