The FY 2024 MIS Workshop in Wichita, Kansas will be held on the afternoon of July 25 at the 2023 KSDE TASN Summer Leadership Conference (see details below.) Please note that this is registration for the MIS Workshop ONLY. Registering for this workshop does NOT register you for the Leadership Conference. If you would like to attend the Leadership Conference as well, you must register for it separately. Attendance at the Leadership Conference is not required if you would like to attend the MIS workshop ONLY.
The MIS workshop will be presented by Mason Vosburgh who is the KSDE Special Education Data Manager mvosburgh@ksde.org
Purpose
The KSDE Special Education Services Team Data Manager will present information regarding special education student data including the Data Dictionary Field Definitions, Verifications, Data Submission Schedule and the Annual Performance Report data.
MIS Workshop Registration Information
There is no fee to attend the Wichita MIS Workshop.
Special education student data and the Annual Performance Report data information will be presented. Two points are awarded on the Kansas IDEA Annual Performance Report Timely and Accurate Data score sheet for Special Education Administrator/designee attendance. Two points are awarded for attendance by the MIS Data Clerk. Backup Data Clerks are welcome to attend. Points are not awarded for attendance by the MIS Data Clerk Backup.
Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
